Uzma Rizvi completed her Bachelors of Fine Arts in printmaking and painting. She is inspired by nature, Sufi poetry and humanity.

"I paint to express my own visual, emotional, and spiritual queries and discoveries. Nature relaxes me and I hope to share its beauty and solace with everyone. I am also enamored by Sufi-mystical poetry and its symbolism of Love and Truth.

In my paintings, I play around with elements and images of nature and poetic symbols for the heart, the soul, rivers, smoke, love, harmony, and more. I hope people are inspired by my art to discover something for themselves and about themselves, as well."
